How many sessions do I need?
The beautiful thing about being human is that we are all so wonderfully unique, therefore there is no exact number. I ask that each client commit to a minimum of 3 sessions for maximum results. Each client is given some homework, the more this is practised and the more you are committed to change, usually the less sessions you will need?
What does a session with you look like?
Once again, because we are so wonderfully unique, every sessions will look a little different depending on what the individuals needs are at the time. Usually in a typical Hypnotherapy session we will go through your desired outcomes, change from problem to solution state, self hypnosis and then I will take you into trance where the majick happens. I use a NLP in these sessions and also counselling, coaching and energy healing when I feel it is needed.
What is the difference between the Conscious Mind and the Unconscious mIND?
The Conscious mind is analytical, rational, and makes judgments as to what is right or wrong. The conscious ultimately decides what is possible to do and what is not possible to do.
The unconscious mind is, metaphorically, a reservoir of all the multidimensional experiences acquired throughout your lifetime, including your historical experience, personal and social learning’s, manner (drives, motivations, needs) for interacting with one’s world, and your automatic functioning in countless behaviours each day. The unconscious mind, in contrast to the conscious mind, is not as rigid or analytical. It can respond to inferences between the lines, is capable of symbolic interpretation, and tends to be global in view (Fromm, 1992; Zeig, 1980). It is the source of our habits.
It is emotional, and it works like a computer as it accepts any data without analysis. It is our permanent memory and our protection from danger (real or imagined. It cannot differentiate between fact and fiction. Our automatic body functions and immune system also operate from here and it also stores past life memories.
